I’m reading up on chocolate frog cards in the Harry Potter universe, for reasons, and-

“Came up with the ever changing floor plan.”

actually considering all this, the changing floorplan probably worked exactly as designed when it came to the battle of hogwarts in the late 90′s. the invasion was towards the end of the term, so the students, especially the renegade students in hiding, had the full term to master getting around the school quickly, quietly, and efficiently. the invading deatheaters were generally their parents’s ages, and hadn’t been back to hogwarts in several decades, if they’d even attended at all. so, while the adult invaders easily outmatched the adolescent defenders in strength and skill, hogwarts was a lethal maze to the deatheaters, while it was home to the kids. 

rowena knew what the fuck she was doing.

Yes good I am so damn ready for this.  Set some time after the clusters rescues Wolfgang and they leave the UK. References back to this ficlet in which Wolfgang gets over himself and realizes Kala doesn’t blame him for anything that happened with Whispers.  But since I just gave you a summary, you don’t have to read it before this one.

After the cluster had saved Wolfgang, he had been reluctant to see Kala at first.  He had been wracked with guilt over Whispers using him to find her name.  But it hadn’t lasted long – even through the blockers, the pull between them was too strong. Before he knew what he was doing, he had let Nomi and Sun convince him to at least speak to her, and then there was no going back.  Once they saw each other in person, Wolfgang knew he was hers as long as she would have him.

From there, things were easier.  Kala (and the rest of the cluster) nursed him back to health.  As soon as he was well enough to travel without drawing attention to himself, they left London for Brussels.  In a new city, no longer surrounded by the memories of what happened to him, Wolfgang and Kala finally start to feel like they’re in a real relationship.

It’s wonderful.  Even with the blockers, it’s the best thing Wolfgang has ever known in his life.  But it also brings up something he had not really had time to consider before – he had no idea how to actually be in a relationship.  Loving Kala?  That was easy.  It was more natural than breathing.  But being her boyfriend?  Even the word felt strange on Wolfgang’s tongue.

the first thing will and riley do after whispers is done and over with is go to iceland. riley finally tells her dad about the cluster and a more than nervous will meets girlfriend’s dad. gunnar’s shocked by his daughter’s revelation, but he sees the look in riley’s eyes and there’s a certain sparkle he hasnt seen in a long time. he’s never met the other six but if they’re apart of riley (and will), he’ll love them all the same.

the first thing will and riley do when they get off the plane in chicago is visit diego. when he sees will standing on his front steps, he’s wondering if he’s gone crazy too. will pulls him into a hug and thats when he knows its real and will’s actually there. diego may not admit it, but he teared up a bit and his kids could not be happier to have their uncle will back. (“whose the lady with the weird accent?”)

will has nightmares about whispers. they never really go away. but when he sees that riley’s laying next to him and she’s okay, he pulls her closer and he lays there until he has to get up for his shift in the morning.

they both have a hard time falling asleep without the other there. so on nights when riley’s working late and will is home. he’ll visit her at whatever event she’ll be working at to pass the time.

when anyone asks the two how they met, their go to response is online dating

riley loves surprising will at work during lunch. his cop buddies love her.

will’s not really the jealous type, he’s just over protective. a lot of the times drunk men have hit on riley after her gigs and they dont stop. there was a time when some guy got way too close to riley, but before will could do anything, sun beat him to it. she broke the man’s arm, nose, and kicked him so hard between the legs that she might’ve broken that too. and then walked away like nothing happened.

riley isnt the jealous type either. she knows just how much will loves her. she feels it every day. he tells her every day. lbr, he doesn’t shut up about her. when girls flirt with will, she almost feels sorry for them because yup, this man is mine and you can’t have him. aaaaalll mine.

One of the reasons I liked Sense8 so much was that Nomi was treated as attractive right from the beginning. 

It didn’t need any qualification. It wasn’t that someone wanted her against their will and was ashamed of it. 

She was just - right from the first episode - presented as a whole, valid person, whose desirability was never in doubt.

like i know it’s a TV show and it’s not like we overthrew a government or whatever, but Netflix were so determined that they weren’t going to bring Sense8 back, that that was It, no more Sense8 for us, but we fought back and we said No and we refused to move or be moved and we got them to change their mind, we got them to give us a movie length special to say goodbye, We Did That, so don’t ever let anyone tell you that anything is impossible bc this is proof that if you work together with good intentions anything is possible
